cheeeeeeeeeeeeeese!

I've never seen myself look so "American" before.. graphic tee, cut-offs, teased hair and a big cheesy smile... actually, all the above criteria fit my daily look besides the graphic tee...haha.

I've never been big on the graphic tee (I think I'm traumatized from when I was 15 and I thought it would be cool to wear a Von Dutch tank top).. everyone has something to be embarrassed about! I know I sure do! (ie. super low rise jeans with sparkles I wore to a Britney concert when I was a freshman in high school, Ugg boots publicly, lavender Juicy Couture terry cloth zip-up hoodie with Seven Jeans.. I could keep going...)

But in my defence, all of this was almost eight years ago and it was considered very cool! Who knows... eight years from now I'm going to look back on all my photos and say why the eff did I get a perm and wear platforms.. Trends are soooo relative..

[this is for a t-shirt company I kinda modeled for -- note how I inserted the word "kinda" because i cringe at the word "model".. just because someone takes your photo doesn't mean you're a model! barf..

i need a new word (or phrase rather instead of model) -- "this is for a t-shirt company that paid me to wear their clothes and have my photo taken in them."

that feels better.

close-up.

Currently listening to: Gui Boratto "Azzurra"

Feeling: Congested.. as expected this time of year.

Excited: to get The Machinist, which is next up on my Netflix Queue. I've been told my many people I'd enjoy this film because I LOVE psychologically sick thrillers..

Wearing: Crest WhiteStrips (yeah, my teeth aren't naturally this white and/or bright) and a onesie fleece pajama from Target with glow-in-the-dark rocket ships..

Tired: of everyone capitalizing off the entire vampire franchise.. really though.. I had no idea one of the coolest classic monsters could become the biggest trend.. (Although I am pretty excited for Nosferatu to come in the mail.. thank you again new subscription to Netflix!)

Happy: that I finally got the internet and wifi working at my apartment! Once again, I'm about 7 years late with technology.

this is my favorite fake holiday.

I have had a serious obsession with Halloween since I can remember the time I spoke up and told my mom I'm tired of being a ghost with a pillowcase with cut-out eye holes.. Ever since then, she has devoted so much energy into customizing my costume each year!

Me =
so lucky to have a creative mom who doesn't mind seeing
her daughter dress-up like a slutty fill-in-the-blank.
